All courses may be taken individually, with no previous BMC experience necessary.

Infant Developmental Movement Education 2 (IDME2) (10 days)

Requirement for IDME2 participation is completion of IDME1


Note: *Indicates courses which must be completed to register in IDME 1:
Senses and Perceptions (S&P), Basic Neurological Patterns (BNP),
Ontogenetic Development, and the Primitive Reflexes, Righting Reactions & 
Equilibrium Responses (RRR).

Daily Class Schedule: 8:30-10:30; 11 -1; and 2-4 or 3-5. Lunch break is 1-2 or 1-3pm.

What to bring to class: A course manual will be given to each registered participant on the first day. Bring pen, paper, a water bottle, snacks, your lunch, a blanket or sitting cushion, if you wish. Sensing, Feeling and Action, by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, is recommended reading and The Anatomy Coloring Book is required. The Atlas of Human Anatomy, by Frank H. Netter is recommended.

Wear comfortable clothing that you move freely in and dress in layers to tolerate the heat and air conditioning. Location is walking distance to Whole Foods and 9th St Merchant area with numerous restaurant and shopping options. If you are staying at Homestead Suites, their free shuttle will pick up the group at an agreed upon time at the end of each day.

BMC Programs in NC Faculty: Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, OTR, the creator of BMC founder of The School for Body-Mind Centering (SBMC) thirty-five years ago will lead the IDME faculty. Maryska Bigos (BMC-NC Program Coordinator)  graduated in the first BMC Practitioner program in 1982 and became a BMC Certified Teacher in 1983. She has served on the faculty at SBMC regularly since 1983. Lisa Clark and Bob Lehnberg  (BMC-NC Education Coordinators) are also Certified Teachers of Body-Mind Centering, each having more than twenty years experience teaching and practicing this method.
